Lena was a wonderful woman! She had a loving and playful nature that endeared her to people, friends and family alike. She would put off her to do list to play cards, Yahtzee, or dominoes with her kids and grandkids any time they wanted to play, and she enjoyed it! Lena had many talents! She could sniff out a bargain like nobody else, and she was such a talented seamstress! She could make anything she set her mind too, and her kids enjoyed receiving beautiful quilts she made every year at Christmas. Because Lena was a social butterfly, she enjoyed getting out and seeing people, and she enjoyed her sewing bee tremendously! Although I loved all of these things about her, what I loved most was her loving heart and her unshakable faith in Jesus Christ as her personal savior. Everyone who loved her felt blessed to know her, and although we will miss her, we know that she is exactly where she wants to be; she is home.
