Obituary for Linda Carolyn Cooper

Marlow: Linda Carolyn Cooper, 71, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020 in Marlow.

At the family's request, cremation has taken place. Cremation and all arrangements have been entrusted in Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.

Linda was born Sunday, July 24, 1949 in Marlow, to Elton and Esther (Abshire) Lamb. She was a 1967 graduate of Marlow High School and earned her Bachelors Degree from OCLA, where she majored in History and Accounting. Linda lived in Lybia and Seattle for a period of time, but lived in the Dallas and Houston area most of her life. She met Robin Cooper, and they were married in December of 2018. She was a very intelligent womn and was a member of MENSA. Linda enjoyed traveling, writing, gardening, sewing and crocheting, cooking, and was an amazing baker. She was a very strong Democrat and helped with Stephens County Democrat Headquarters frequently. Linda enjoyed pestering her husband on a daily basis, and she loved those closest to her, and loved spending time with them.

Survivors include, her husband, Robin Cooper of the home, son, Jay Harrill and wife Charity of Midland, TX, daughter, Elizabeth McSpadden and husband Mark of OKC, several grandchildren, brother, Mark Lamb and wife Emma of Houston, TX, 3 sisters: Utahona "Tona" Alexander and husband John of Marlow, OK, Nona Bell and husband Buddy of Marlow, and Yvonne Lamb of Houston, TX. Linda is also survived by her special friend Melissa Glissom of Marlow.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elton and Esther (Abshire) Lamb.
