Rush Springs: Minnie "Lucille" Davis, 93, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2023 in Marlow.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow, with Rev. David Woods officiating. All arrangements have been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
Visitation for Lucille will be at Callaway-Smith-Cobb in Marlow, Monday, January 23, 2023, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, and Tuesday, 8:30 AM - 12:00.
Lucille was born Tuesday, May 28, 1929 in Dill City, OK, to Arthur and Ruby (Reynolds) Son. She married the love of her life, Mirl "Mutt" Bradley Davis, November 16, 1943 in Duncan, Lucille and Mutt celebrated more than 63 years of marriage until he preceded her in death on September 5, 2007. She lived in Rush Springs for more than 64 years but had lived in Marlow for the last 15 years of her life. She spent her years being a homemaker and taking care of her family. Lucille enjoyed camping, sewing, and quilting. She also enjoyed ceramics, painting, and coloring. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Lucille loved her family deeply and she will be dearly missed by all.
Survivors include daughter, Patricia June McCauley of Marlow, 6 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and her great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her loving husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Kelvin Davis, Daughter and son in law, Mary Helen and Troy Trusty, son in law, Buck McCauley, and her parents and siblings.
