Lynn was born Monday, October 8, 1945 in Louisburg, KS, to Ernest and Billie (Staton) Smith. She was a 1964 graduate of Ardmore High School. Lynn married the love of her life, Douglas A. Mader, in Mangum, OK, September 4, 1964. Lynn and Doug met through family. Her brother, Bill Smith, and Doug's sister, Reba Mader, married and love developed with their siblings. These unions brought the families together even closer and double cousins. Lynn and Doug were married very happily for more than 58 years and were always there 100% for each other. Their love and concern for only each other during Lynn's final days was and is an inspiration. After their daughter Shelly was born, the family moved to Marlow a week later in 1965. Their son Jeff was born a few years later. Lynne was a homemaker, Martha Stewart Style, long before that was a thing. She did it all, gardening, canning, baking, sewing, decorating, and anything else needed. Lynn spent many years being a Girl Scout and Brownie leader and even a Cub Scout and Den Mother. She excelled at throwing birthday parties. She opened the Party Mart and thrilled children of all ages with gorgeous and delicious cakes. She started balloons and wedding catering as well. Valentine's Day for 20 years was a sea of red balloons at the area schools. There are many years of fun and wild tales from her time owning Party Mart. She loved it and it was her passion. Lynn and Doug started growing blackberries and they had a huge patch. Lynn worked every day in her patch braving any elements and even wild critters. They had customers from several surrounding states with standing orders for years. Eventually her arthritis and the drought forced her to retire the blackberry patch. Lynn loved her family deeply, especially her grandchildren, and she will be missed by all.

Survivors include her husband Doug of the home, daughter, Shelly Jameson of Marlow, son, Jeffery Mader and wife Misty of Shawnee, 4 amazing grandchildren, Josh Abney of OKC, Craig Jameson and wife Sarah of Davis, Cole Mader of Shawnee, and Kelsey Mader of Shawnee. 3 great-grandchildren, Josalyn, Jillian, and Jett, brother, Louis Glaub of DeKalb, MO, special niece, Gaye Simmons of Marlow, sister in law, Cody Boyce, 2 loving cats, Zaa Zaa and Dottie, numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of beautiful friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and 3 brothers, Jim Smith, Bill Smith, and Dickie Smith, mother and father in law, D.A. and Clara Mader, sisters in law, Reba Smith, Ilene Rowe, and Dixie Smith, and brothers in law, Sonny Boyce and Jack Rowe.

Lynn endured such pain from Rheumatoid Arthritis and Parkinson's disease. Donations to either would be greatly appreciated by Lynn's family.

Lynn was taken care of by Choice Hospice (formerly Kindness Hospice). Cherokee and Brittney were "her" girls that she wanted to adopt. The care and love they showed, along with the other nurses and RN, were a blessing and very appreciated by the family.
