Obituary for Margaret Louise Littrell (Grooms)

Marlow: Margaret "Louise" Littrell, passed away Monday, May 25, 2020 in Marlow, at the age of 78.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, May 29, 2020, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Marlow, with Rev. David Standifer officiating. Burial will follow in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Service in Marlow. Family visitation will be Thursday, May 28, 2020 at 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel.

Louise was born Tuesday, April 21, 1942 in Rush Springs, to Leroy Grooms and Betty (Edgar) Grooms. She lived in the Stephens and Grady county areas most of her life. Louise married the love of her life, Alton Wade "Big Jim" Littrell in Wichita Falls on January 15, 1981; they were married for 30 wonderful years before Jim's passing on October 16, 2011. Louise retired after owning and operating the High Chaparral Restaurant for many years with her husband. Louise enjoyed sewing and quilting. She liked bowling, fishing, and going to the movies. Louise loved to travel as well as spending time with her family that adored her.

Survivors include, 2 sons, Rickey Mills of Marlow, Tony Littrell and wife Melonie of Rush Springs, 2 daughters, Debbie Mills of Marlow, Dawn Littrell Jordan of Marlow, 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and a niece, Romana Dunn of CA.

Along with her husband, Louise was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, LeRoy Grooms.
