Obituary for Margery Louise Puzin
Wichita: Margery Louise Puzin passed away on December 22, 2020 after a long fight with dementia. She was 84.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at the Marlow Cemetery with Rev. David Galletly officiating. Burial is under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
Margery was born Monday, March 30, 1936 in Marlow, to Roy and Ruth (Killian) Cooper. She was a graduate of Classen High School and then attended the University of Oklahoma. Margery and Robert L. Puzin married on August 14, 1955, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and they celebrated 50 years of marriage. She was employed as a secretary for Woods County Abstract, but first and foremost, she devoted her life to her husband and three sons. Margery was a member of the Estes Park Episcopal Church from 1995 until 2013, when she relocated to Wichita, KS. She enjoyed hiking in the mountains of Colorado, traveling with her grandchildren, playing cards, and she loved spending time with her family. She had a vivacious personality and made friends everywhere she went.
Survivors include 3 sons, Robert L. Puzin, Jr., Daniel D. Puzin, and Michael A. Puzin, 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and brother, Roy E. Cooper, Jr.
Margery was preceded in death by her husband and her parents, and her sister.
