Obituary for Marilyn Janice Sculthorp (Marilyn Stenerson)
Rush Springs: Marilyn Janice (Stenerson) Sculthorp, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019 in Rush Springs, at the age of 82.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs. Burial will follow in the Westview Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs.
Marilyn was born Sunday, October 18, 1936 in North Dakota. She moved to Rush Springs in 1989. She worked many years at Wheels Express. Marilyn married the love of her life Woody Sculthorp in Park River, North Dakota on September 10, 1955. They were married for 50 wonderful years before his passing on December 8, 2005. Marilyn enjoyed homemaking and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include, a son, Rodney Sculthorp and wife Shannon of Corona, CA, 4 grandchildren, Matthew Sculthorp, Alexis Sculthorp, Collin Sculthorp, Kaylee Sculthorp, 3 brothers, Willard Stenerson of ND, Jerry Loughead of ND, Joey Loughead and wife Sandy, and 2 sisters, Lois Peterson and husband Lloyd of ND, Joyce Iverson and husband Larry of ND. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
