Obituary for Mark Allen Singleton

Rush Springs: Mark Allen Singleton, 68, passed away Friday, October 14, 2022 in Duncan.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at the Sterling Catholic Cemetery, with Deacon Tom Biles officiating. Burial and all arrangements have been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.

Mark was born Saturday, October 17, 1953 in El Dorado, KS, to Junior and Margie (Knight) Singleton. He was a graduate of El Dorado High School and a proud member of the United States Air Force until 1978. Mark had lived in the Rush Springs area since 1978 and worked in Civil Services. He married the love of his life and best friend, Sherry Laurent, May 8, 1975 in Wrightstown, NJ. Mark enjoyed fishing, and hunting. He was quite the handyman and was always building something, whether it be an auto model, electric set, or something around the house. Mark also coached softball and played his Glen Campbell guitar often. He loved his family the most and he never missed an opportunity to spend time with them, especially his grandkids. Mark's favorite thing was being the boy's PaPa. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife Sherry of the home, 2 daughters, Stephanie Beaird and husband Curtis of Waurika, and Jennifer Jaimes of Rush Springs, 4 grandchildren, Trevor Henderson, Blake Henderson, Jaydon Jaimes, and, Evan Jaimes, brother, Steven Singleton and wife Yolanda of Corsicana, TX, sister, Linda Althouse and husband Terry of El Dorado, KS, numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
