Duncan: Marty Dean Woods, 56, passed away Monday, January 11, 2021 in Duncan.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, January 15, 2021, at the Ryan Cemetery, with Rev. David Woods officiating. Burial will be in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
Marty was born Monday, July 20, 1964 in California, to Jimmy and Joyce (Lawson) Woods. He lived in Stephens County for most of his life, and graduated from Bray High School in 1982. Marty met Cheryl Cutlip, and they married on September 11, 2004, in Marlow, and they celebrated 16 years of marriage. He worked in the lawn care business and loved being outside. Marty enjoyed tinkering with different things, fishing, and gardening, but most of all, loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Woods of Duncan, mother, Joyce Lawson, son, Chris Woods of Duncan, 2 sisters, Becky Robertson and husband Allen of Bray, and Susan Briston, 6 nephews, Chris Biffle, Bryan Robertson, Corey Briston, Tanner Briston, Sooner Biffle, and Brantley Robertson
Marty was preceded in death by his father, and brother, James Woods.
