Mary Helen Bearce was born in Bray, Oklahoma February 8, 1922 to Tom and Lou Brooks. She died at home, October 9, 2020. She attended Bray School graduation Valedictorian of her class. She went on to attend Hills Business College in Oklahoma City. She married Edgar E. Bearce, September 18, 1939. They were married for nearly 56 years. They had two children, Tommie Lou and Eddie Lee. Mary Helen worked several years for State National Bank in Marlow and went on to retire after thirty years with Halliburton. She was active in ESA sorority, Elizabethan, and multiple bridge clubs. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, cooking, quilting, reading, movies, yardwork, and bridge. She was always up for an adventure including six flags rides at 89! She loved her Bray basketball and attended games into her eighties. She was a member of the Marlow First Baptist Church.

Mary Helen is survived by her daughter, Tommie Lou Wilson and husband Kent, daughter-in-law, Rebecca Bearce, seven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, and her brother, Junior.
