Obituary for Mary Helen Trusty

Rush Springs: Mary Helen Trusty, passed away Monday, May 20, 2019 in Marlow, at the age of 74.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, May 24, 2019, at the Vimy Ridge Baptist Church, with Rev. David Hale and James McClure officiating. Burial will be in the Rush Springs Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs. Family visitation will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs.

Helen was born Wednesday, November 1, 1944 in Marlow, to Mirl Bradley and Minnie Lucille (Son) Davis. She had lived in the Rush Springs area all of her life and had graduated with the Class of 1963 in Rush Springs. Helen married her wonderful, caring husband, Troy Trusty in Lawton on April 13, 1965, they were married for 54 wonderful years. Helen was a homemaker but could always be found helping Troy with any of his businesses. She enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable garden as she always had the prettiest of both with her green thumb. Helen loved to cook and was an excellent one at that especially her fried potatoes. She enjoyed reading and doing crafts but most of all Helen loved to camp at the lake with her family and friends.

Survivors include, her husband, Troy Trusty of the home, a son, Mike Trusty and wife Dayna of Rush Springs, 2 daughters, Shelli Loeser and husband Bobby of Rush Springs, Cindy Jackson of Alex, 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, her mother, Minnie Lucille Davis of Marlow, a sister Patricia June McCauley of Marlow.She was also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Helen was preceded in death by father, Mirl Bradley,a brother, Kelvin Bradley, and a great-granddaughter, Quinn June Trusty.

Pallbearers will be: Grandsons and Nephews

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Clay Rennaker, Scott Dennis, Deke Norton, Scott Hayes, Jay Smelley, and Ron Hayes.
