Marlow: Melba "Ann" Hupp, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2019 in Marlow, at the age of 82.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Marlow, with Rev. Bubba Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
Ann was born Friday, July 24, 1936 in Marlow, to Ernest W. and Gertrude (Freeman) Whaley. She graduated with the Bray High School Class of 1954. Ann lived in the Marlow area her whole life, with the exception of four years in which she lived in Quincy, Massachusetts, while her husband served in the United States Navy. Ann married the love of her life, Jim Hupp in Marlow on July 6, 1954, they were married for 64 wonderful years. Ann enjoyed following all of her children's, grandchildren's, and great grandchildren's activities. She was their biggest fan. Her biggest joy was just being around her family. Ann also loved to travel and see new places.
Survivors include, her husband, Jim Hupp of the home, a son, Kenneth Hupp and wife Bobbi of Marlow, a daughter, Kim Hines and husband Fred of Marlow, 6 grandchildren, Shaye Hupp and wife Tracy of Marlow, Jo Dell Hodgden and husband Ryan of Fairview, Lindsi Haile and husband Tommy of Fairview, Heath Hines and wife Sheena of Marlow, Stephanie Hines of Oklahoma City, Haleigh Elroy and husband Nick of Stillwater, 13 great-grandchildren, Garrett Hodgden, Jayden Hupp, Lanie Leach, Austin Hodgden, Jori Brittain, Allye Haile, Shaylyn Hupp, Tristan Leach, Kasyn Haile, Abigayle Hupp, Paizli Hines, Camdyn Hines, and Adeline Elroy. She is also survived by a sister, Faye Graham of Bray, brother and sister in law, Ronny and Faye Hupp of Comanche as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, Virgie Leon Goree, Dorothy Mae Jones, Billie Walker, and a brother, Loyd Whaley.
Pallbearers will be: Shaye Hupp, Heath Hines, Garrett Hodgden, Tommy Haile, Ryan Hodgden, and Nick Elroy.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Jayden Hupp, Camdyn Hines, Kasyn Haile, Austin Hodgden, and Tristan Leach.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzeheimers Association for medical research.
