Obituary for Merrel Frances Trusty (Loveless)

Rush Springs: Merrel Frances Trusty, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2019 in Duncan, at the age of 71.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 26, 2019, at the Southern Baptist Church, with Rev. Paul Phipps officiating. Burial will follow in the Westview Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs. Visitation has been scheduled for Monday, February 25, 2019, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel.

Frannie was born Friday, August 1, 1947 in Lawton, OK, to James Aubrey and Wilma Dora (Woods)Loveless. She graduated with the Tipton Class of 1964 and had lived in the Rush Springs area for 53 years. Frannie married the love of her life, Kenneth Trusty in Rush Springs on May 28, 1966. They had been married for 52 wonderful years before her passing. Frannie loved to play her bass guitar and was always singing. She loved all kinds of music and was formally in a band. Frannie was a woman of many talents that enjoyed sewing. She made all the kids and grandkids Christmas stockings and towels. Frannie loved Facebook and play her games on the computer. She took passion in learning the Choctaw language. Frannie was a loving woman that loved her children, grandchildren, as well as her brothers and sisters.

Survivors include, her husband, Kenneth Trusty of the home, a son, Kevin Trusty and wife Laura of Rush Springs, 6 grandchildren, Patrick, Rachael, Foster, Hunter, Tristen, Hadley, and one great-grandson, Daxton. She was also survived by 2 brothers, Shorty Loveless of Duncan, Sammy Loveless and wife Pamela of Wewoka, 2 sisters, Willie Seaton of Marlow, Phyllis Nichols of Marlow, 2 special nieces, Donna Fowler, Kaylynn Triplett, and a special great niece, China Nichols as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Frannie was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Autumn, her parents, and a brother, James Loveless.

Pallbearers will be: Skipper Fitzgerald, Ron Hayes, Scott Hayes, Mark Meek, John Morrow, Michael Fulton, Brody Higgins, and Jerrod Seaton.

Honorary Pallbearers will be grandchildren and Rush Springs Fire, EMS, and Police.
