Rush Springs: Michael Glen Pearson, 71, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022 in Lawton.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs, with Rev. Paul Phipps officiating. Burial will be in the Westview Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
Visitation for Michael will be Sunday, November 13, 1:00-8:30 PM, Monday, November 14, 8:30 AM- 8:30 PM, and Tuesday, November 15, 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM.
Michael was born Friday, September 21, 1951 in Tulare, CA to Allen and Gladys (Adams) Pearson. He attended Modesto High School. Michael worked as a truck driver and had lived in the Rush Springs area since 1993. He married the love of his life, Donna Preston, September 10, 1973 in Reno, NV. Michael and Donna celebrated more than 49 years of marriage at the time of his passing. He enjoyed raising chickens, football, and racing cars. Michael also enjoyed John Wayne movies and watching Bonanza. He loved his family and he will be missed by all.
Survivors include his loving wife of the home, Donna; son, Michael Glen Pearson, Jr. of Rush Springs; daughter, Jennifer Harris of Rush Springs, and Michelle Wilson and husband Craig of Siloam Springs, AR; 6 grandchildren, Dillon Tennison, Randy Harris Jr., Ha'Lee Tennison, Jorden Harris, Ronnie Tennison III, and, Layne Harris; great-grandchildren, Lily Tennison, Leia Tennison, Gabby Phifer, Mia Phifer, Lincoln Michael Tennison, and Addison Tennison; 3 brothers, Jeffery Pearson and wife Cheetah of Huntsville, AR, Joe Pearson of CA, and Jessie Pearson and wife Jeanie of CA and sister, Mary Pearson Fritts-Carey of CA.
He was preceded in death by his parents and numerous brothers.
Pallbearers will be: Dillon Tennison, Randy Harris Jr., Jorden Harris, Layne Harris, Ronnie Tennison III, Ha’Lee Tennison, and Pompey Pearson.
