Visitation for Midge will be on Thursday, May 19, 3:00 to 8:30 PM.

Mildred was born Saturday, November 15, 1924 to Gillie and Pearl (Clark) Stotts in Royal, Oklahoma. She grew up on a farm with 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Times were hard and they had very little but always had love and family to support each other. Midge learned how to fix and work on about anything. She was taught honesty and good work ethics.

She lived in Marlow her early years. She started school in Marlow but moved east of town with her family during her first year of school. She attended Burrows School (in Stephens County) and then went to Pernell High where she graduated in 1943.

After graduating, she moved to Oklahoma City where she got a job at Douglass Aircraft in Midwest City, making C47's. It was at a dance that she met her husband, Bob Doller. He was in the Marines and was attending a training class in Norman. After dating only 3 weeks, they were married August 3, 1944 in Oklahoma City. They were married 27 wonderful years until his death in May 1971. Midge lived in Tehachapi, California, Santa Barbara California, and Memphis, Tennessee while Bob was in the Marines. He was honorably discharged in 1946. It was then that they moved to New York for almost a year and returned back to the Marlow area in 1947, where she lived the rest of her life.

Daughter, Roberta, was born in 1947 and daughter, Sharon, in 1955.

In her years living in Marlow, she worked at Kirkpatrick's Used Furniture, Marlow Cleaners, Haggar Slacks and AOA (when she retired).

She could sew beautifully, was a fabulous cook, and loved going to garage sales. She was a great dancer to country music and had a fun sense of humor. She was an avid fan of the OKC Thunder, never missing a game on TV. She also enjoyed OU and OSU football and basketball. She was baptized in the 1st Christian Church in Marlow.

Midge lived her last 8 months of her life at Gregston Nursing Home where she quickly felt at home with all the love and attention from the wonderful staff. She made so many new friends, young and old. Her family is forever grateful for their love and care from each and everyone.

Midge was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Doller; long time partner of 21 years, Leeroy Schenk, parents; brothers, G.B. Stotts and John Stotts; sisters, Mary Allen and Juanita Johnson; and great-granddaughter Mia Hastings.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Roberta Wortham and husband L.D. of Shawnee, and Sharon Snell and husband David of Chickasha; grandchildren, Lance Wortham and wife Renee of Shawnee, Cassie Morton and husband Steve of Bethel Acres, Stacy Hastings and husband Scott of Mustang, and Lisa Baker and husband Michael of Mustang; great-grandchildren, Aaron Morton, Jericho Morton, Stormie Sullivan and husband Bradley, Channing Wortham, Brianna Wortham, Ella Baker, Hudson Baker, Leah Hastings, and Maggie Hastings; 3 great-great-grandsons, Silas Morton, Cruz Morton, and one on the way, Castin Sullivan.

Pallbearers will be: Lance Wortham, Aaron Morton, Jericho Morton, Scott Hastings, Michael Baker, and Bradley Sullivan.
