Blanchard: Naomi Joyce Cobb, 89, passed away Friday, August 31, 2018 in Blanchard.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Marlow, with Rev. Ron Maxfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.

Naomi was born Saturday, June 8, 1929 in Marlow, to John Barney and Lucinda (Traphagan) Smith. She graduated from the Marlow High School with the Class of 1947. She married William Louis Ware on April 10, 1948 in Henrietta, Texas. They were married for 45 years before his passing on February 23, 1994. Naomi later went on to marry Marion N. Cobb in Duncan. They were married for 23 years. She lived in the Marlow most of her life. Naomi was a Sunday school teacher for over 40 years and was involved in several churches. She enjoyed volunteering at senior citizens programs and vacation Bible schools. She was the director of many different vacation Bible school. She enjoyed spending time with family and working on geneology.

Survivors include, a son, Danny Ware and wife Karen of Blanchard, a daughter, Nancy Ann Pannell of Blanchard, 6 grandchildren, Steve Deiter, Danny Ware, Jr., Nathan Ware, Justin Ware, Misty Pentecost, Crystal Eddy. She was also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, a sister, Sammie Black of Waco, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews

Along with her first husband, Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter, Amy Lynn Ware, grandson, Zachary William Pannella, brother, J.B. Smith, 5 sisters, Mable Whitner, Merle Miller, Ruth Collier, Marilea Bible, Marcella Cearlock.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
