Obituary for Natalie Sophia Reeves

"Some people are born already so perfect that they don't need to stay as long as others"

On Sunday, the 25th of October, 2020, at 7:33 am, Natalie Sophia Reeves passed away, going to be with God, at home while holding her momma's hand, and with her grandmothers by her side. She was 8 years old, born on Valentine's day of 2012 in Killeen, Texas.

Her mother is having her memorial service on Wednesday, November 4th at 1pm, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home Chapel in Marlow.

Natalie passed away after the treatments for a rare aggressive childhood cancer called Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma (ARMS) proved to be unsuccessful. They only just found out about the cancer in March of this year. Natalie fought the hardest battle, but in 8 years, she did what most people wait a lifetime to accomplish, she had a purpose, and she fulfilled it, whatever that may be.

She is survived by her mother, Stephenie West of Duncan, her father, John Reeves of Lawton, Her amazing big sister, Isabella West, and loving little sisters, Penelope, and Lennox. her grandparents, Timothy and Janett West and Wayne and Marlene Weeks, her uncles Ken Derbonne, and Joshua West. Aunts Patricia Derbonne, and Amanda Bartlett. Natalie is also survived by her cousins Katie, Kam, Braelynn, Brayden, Maddy, Kaleb, Isaiah, and Delilah.

She is preceded in death by her little sisters twin, Scarlette Noelle Peavler, and Grandpa Harold West who passed away exactly a week before she did.

She was the brightest beautiful Fortnite playing, slime making, barbie loving, kind, old soul.

If you wish to send flowers, contact the funeral home. If you would like to donate to childhood cancer, you can contact the Childhood Cancer Society or OU Childrens Hospital, Ronald McDonald House.

LUKE 18:16
"but Jesus called for them, saying, "permit the children to come to ME, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these."
