Obituary for Olan Dewayne Williams

Marlow: Olan Dewayne Williams, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019 in Oklahoma City at the age of 65.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at the Glory Bound Church, with Rev.David Woods officiating. Burial will follow in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.

Olan was born Monday, January 12, 1953 in Sulphur, OK, to Claude Silas and Eva (Crane) Williams. He lived in the Marlow area most of his life and graduated for the Marlow High School with the Class of 1972. Olan worked for Halliburton for many years as a machinist. He was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed fishing, camping, deer, coon, and turkey hunting. Olan loved working in his vegetable garden and working in his workshop building things. He was a faithful OU fan as well as a sports nut. Olan loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren teasing and loving on them. He will dearly be missed by everyone that knew him.

Survivors include, a son, Toby Williams and wife Andrea of Neillsville, WI, 2 daughters, Lisa Sifflef and husband Shannon of Lindsay, Julie Brown of Foster, 7 grandchildren, Logan, Alyssa, Rachel, Emma, Olan, Kaytlyn, Kadence, 2 sisters, Linda Ingram and husband Michael of Marlow, Loveta Strong of Marlow. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as a host of friends.

Olan was preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers will be: Jimmy Dial, Jimmy McCord, John Lemmons, Duncan McDonald, Mike Waller, and Danny Waller.

Honorary Pallbearers are the Marlow Class of 1972.
