Obituary for Richard Lee Stinnett

Marlow: Richard Lee Stinnett, 66, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021 in Duncan.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, December 23, 2021, at the Hope Cemetery, with Rev. Gregg Price officiating. Burial and all arrangements have been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.

Visitation will be on Monday, December 20, 5:00-8:30 PM, Tuesday, 8:30 AM-8:30 PM, and Wednesday, 8:30 AM - 8:30 PM.

Richard was born Tuesday, December 6, 1955 in Marlow, to Richard Dave and Imogene (Kendall) Stinnett. He lived in the Marlow and Bray area all of his life. He was a graduate of Marlow High School and owned and operated his own ceramic tile business. Richard married his best friend, Peggy Sue Bingham, March 17, 1978, in Bray and they celebrated more than 43 wonderful years of marriage. He enjoyed fishing, playing guitar, and doing word searches. Richard also enjoyed sitting in his chair watching Hallmark Christmas movies and reading Western books. He was a big OU fan and never missed a football game on the TV. Richard loved his family more than anything else and the time he got to spend with them. He was deeply loved and will be missed by all.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Sue Stinnett of the home 2 daughters, Candace Glenn of Flower Mound, TX, Heather Licht and husband Brian of OKC, 3 grandsons, Eason, Landon, and Lincoln, sister, Faye Sweat and husband Calvin of Duncan, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters, Alyssa Stinnett, Myra June Ladd, and Kathy Gibson, brother-in-law, Ronnie Ladd, and nephew, Brendon Gibson.
