Obituary for Roger Alan Marshall

Marlow: Roger (Rocky) Alan Marshall, ended his life's journey on Sunday, August 23, 2020 with his family by his side, at the age of 68.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, August 28, 2020, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services.

Rocky was born Friday, November 30, 1951 in San Jose, CA, to Eugene G. and Beatrice (Ballard) Marshall. Rocky worked as an electrical journeyman lineman for the City of Duncan and then for Utilx-Novinium Corporation until his retirement. He loved his job and the friends that he made there along the way. Rocky married the love of his life, Vickey Diana Foss in Duncan on May 17, 1974; they were married for 46 wonderful years before his passing. Rocky enjoyed traveling and traveled many places with his job, sometimes bringing his grandchildren along making many great memories. Everyone knew him for his keen sense of humor and his kindness. Rocky will be missed dearly by everyone that knew him.

Survivors include, his wife, Vickey Marshall of the home, a son, Jason Marshall of Marlow, 2 daughters, Jennifer Blades and husband Todd of Duncan, Whitney Marshall of Marlow, 8 grandchildren, Bayler Speer, Brylon Speer, Korbee Smelley, Hunter Dennis,Baylon Perkins, RJ Perkins, Robert Russell, and Sequouyah Mooney. He is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren, Beckham Russell, Wylder Russell, 3 brothers, Leon "Chief" Jones of Grandberry, Texas, Bill Jones of Duncan, Jeff Brooks of Brentwood, CA, 2 sisters, Anna Doucet of Duncan, Raylene Brooks of Houston, TX, stepmother, Libby Marshall, father-in-law, Bill Foss, brother-in-law, Wayne Doucet, sister-in-law, Sheila Jones, 2 nephews, Winkey Doucet, Benji Doucet, and 2 nieces, Cary Lytle, and Missy Hendricks.

Rocky was preceded in death by father, E. G. Marshall, mother, Beatrice Lyons, his stepfather,Earl P. Lyons, mother-in-law, JoAnn Foss, and a brother-in-law, Billy Carl Foss. .
