Ada: Ronald Gene Gibson, 72, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2022 in Ada, OK.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00, Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Marlow. Burial will be in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
Visitation for Ronald will be at the funeral home on Monday, August 22, 8:30 AM - 8:30 PM.
Ronald was born Friday, January 6, 1950 in Lawton, to Herbert and Ethel (Perkins) Gibson. He was a graduate of Marlow High School and attended college at ECU. Ronald worked in carpentry and lived Marlow all of his life, until recently moving to Ada to live with his sister. He enjoyed meat judging for the FFA, fishing, and hunting. Ronald also enjoyed gardening and being outdoors. He loved his family and cherished any time he spent with them.
Survivors include 2 sons, Wade Alexander of Norman, and Billy Cox of FL; 3 sisters, Huberta Bradley, Sonya Glover, and Ranee Gibson; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Donnie Gibson, and 2 sisters, Fran Koontz, and Marie Tuck.
