Marlow: Shirley Ann Bounds went home to Jesus on November 4, 2022, in Marlow, at the age of 87.
At the family's request, no services are scheduled at this time. Cremation has been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
Shirley was born Wednesday, November 28, 1934 in Marlow, to Jessie Lee and Della Lou (Branch) Sanders. She attended school in Marlow and lived in the area all of her life. During her lifetime Shirley worked at Taylor's Steakhouse, Gregston's Nursing Home, Family Inn Restaurant, and the Town and Country Motel in the Marlow Community. When she retired she enjoyed taking time to work on her home and most particularly her lawn. Always the caretaker and she liked watching over brothers. She was a very special person to many and will be missed.
Survivors include daughter, Peg Trumbull and husband David of Webster, New York, brother, Donnie Sanders of Marlow, niece, Tiffany Johnston of Elgin, great-niece, Kayla Lohr of Cache, and special dear friend, Betty Kaufman of Marlow
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, Lloyd Eugene Sanders, Keith Sanders, Bill Sanders, and Jimmy Sanders, and sister, Dorothy Lee Sanders.
