Obituary for Stanley R. Davis
Rush Springs: Stanley R. Davis, 71, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022 in Chickasha, OK.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM, November 23, 2022, at the House of the Lord in Chickasha. All arrangements have been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
Stanley was born Sunday, November 4, 1951 to Joe Thomas and Nellie (Ready) Davis. He was a graduate of Bray High School. He lived in the Rush Springs area most of his life and worked on the pipeline. Stanley also spent time serving as a proud member of the United States Army. He was married to his best friend, Stephanie Davis, until she preceded him in death. Stanley enjoyed fishing, tinkering, welding, and being creative. He also took pride in caring for his cattle. Most of all, Stanley loved his family and never missed an opportunity to call or text them, and he will be missed by all.
Survivors include daughter, Heather Davis of Chickasha, 2 sons, Heath Davis of Marlow, and Shane Davis of Rush Springs; 7 grandchildren, Erika Richard, Skyler Long, Bradley Foster, Chad Lane, Riley Davis, Kylee Foster, and Caitlyn Long; great-granddaughter, Kimber Richard; 2 brothers, Jim Davis and wife Janie of Marlow, and Jody Davis and wife Betty of Alexandria, LA, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his loving wife, Stanley was preceded in death by his parents.
