Obituary for Susan Maxine Pittman (Tedder)
Susan Maxine Tedder Pittman went home to be with her Heavenly Father on February 19, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. Susan was born on January 6, 1961 in Lindsay, Oklahoma to her loving parents, Bobby and Aline Tedder. Susan was raised in Rush Springs, Oklahoma where she married her high school sweetheart, Kim Alan Pittman on October 21, 1978. To this union was born Christopher Lee and Tiffany Brooke.
Kim and Susan were called into ministry which led them to Pastor the First Assembly of God Church in Trinidad, Colorado where they have made their home. They spent their time together pastoring their church, sharing the Word of God, traveling and making many cherished memories with their family.
Susan was a member of the church where she and Kim currently pastor. She spent many year teaching Bible classes, Women's Ministry, Sunday School and helping care for the church and congregation.
Her most treasured things in life was Kim, their children and their spouses along with the loves of her life, her 4 grandchildren. She also loved and cherished her furry friends, horses, dogs and her special puppy, Cookie. Susan spent her life making sure her family was cared for and had everything they needed. Her alone time was spent praying for others and studying the Bible. She is greatly loved and will be missed by the many lives she touched in her church.
Susan is preceded in death by her father, Bobby Tedder. She is survived by her loving husband, Kim, her dear mother Aline Jump and husband, Kenneth, a son, Chris Pittman and wife, Amanda, a daughter, Tiffany Harris and husband Jeremiah, along with her four amazing grandchildren, Brett Pittman, Brooke Pittman, Hailey Harris, and Khloe Harris. She is also survived by one sister Sandy Tedder Brewer, two brothers, Robbie and Jerry Tedder along with my nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family.
A memorial service will be held in her honor at the First Christian Church in Trinidad, Colorado on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 10:00 am. The service will be officiated by her Pastor and beloved husband, Kim Pittman. Flowers can be sent to Murphy-Mullare Funeral Home in Trinidad, Colorado
There will also be a gravesite service held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at the Westview Cemetery in Rush Springs, Oklahoma at 10:00 am. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved father. Flowers may be ordered or sent to Winnies Flowers of Rush Springs, Oklahoma to be delivered to the graveside service.
