A memorial service for Tommy and Linda McConnell, will be held, Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at 1:00, at Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Marlow. All arrangements have been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services.

Tommy Gene McConnell of Carrollton, Texas passed away on December 10, 2020 at the age of 81. He was a member of the Prestonwood Baptist church in Plano, Texas. He achieved many accomplishments during his lifetime including serving in the Army, being a successful country and western music producer, and owning several businesses after leaving country music. In his later years, he worked at the Bent Tree Country Club in Dallas, Texas. He was a kind, wonderful, talented, and generous man who everyone loved.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Nicolle and Tim Taylor, of Houston, Texas, grandsons, Christopher Harrell of Seattle, Washington, and Hunter Taylor of Houston, Texas, sister, Linda Kay Palmer of Duncan, OKlahoma, and great-granddaughter, Alyssa Taylor of Houston, Texas.

Linda Ann Mcconnell of Carrollton, Texas passed away on February 25, 2008, at the age of 64. She was also a member of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas, She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for 23 years. Linda was remembered for her giving spirit, as she served on many organizations including, Ronald McDonalds, Bone Marrow and Breast Cancer Associations.
