Obituary for Tommy Keith Searcy
Marlow: Tommy Keith Searcy, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2020 at home, at the age of 63.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at the Eastside Baptist Church, with Rev. Lawrence Grisham officiating. Burial will follow in the under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
Tommy was born Thursday, June 27, 1957 in Duncan, to Marion and Joyce (Carter) Searcy. He lived in the Bray area most of his life and had graduated from Bray-Doyle High School. Tommy married the love of his life, Cheryl Potts in Foster on May 30, 1980; they were married for 40 wonderful years before his passing. Tommy worked for the Corporation Commission for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman that loved the woods but especially loved fishing and deer hunting. Tommy enjoyed painting and drawing. Tommy took great pride in wrapping Cheryl's Christmas present in the shape of animal and would also make her a card to go along with it. He was a great family man that loved and enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends. Tommy loved getting to have campfires and cookouts with his kids and grandkids.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Searcy of Marlow, a son, Tommy "Bo" Searcy, II and wife Gala, of Apache, 2 daughters, Stephanie Searcy-Defalco and husband Ricky of Norman, Meagan Searcy-Deitrick and husband Dillion of Norman, 7 grandchildren, Aven Defalco, Kyah Defalco, Luca Defalco, Gabby Searcy, Kaiya Deitrick, Boone Searcy, and Ellie Searcy. He is also survived by 2 brothers, Marion Searcy and wife Wanda of Noble, Danny Searcy of Lone Grove, as well as several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, LaDonna Kimbro.
Pallbearers will be: Bo Searcy, Dillion Deitrick, Ricky Defalco, Barry Potts, Ray Teakell, Ron Smith and Jeff Thomas.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Marion Searcy and Danny Searcy, Sr.
