Marlow: Traver Hutchins, 74, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020 in Marlow.
At the family's request, cremation has taken place. All arrangements have been entrusted in Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
Traver was born Sunday, June 9, 1946 in St. Joseph, MO, to Wallace and Gladys (Haglund) Hutchins. After graduating high school, Traver attended KSU, majoring in Engineering, and he would later work and retire from IBM as a Computer Engineer. Traver was also a proud member of the United States Navy, serving in Vietnam. Traver met Debra Fitts, and they married in Wichita Falls, TX on October 5, 1981 and celebrated 39 wonderful years of marriage. He loved boating with his family and friends, working with his g-scale trains, building props for them such as bridges, barns, and tunnels, and Traver was an avid motorcyclist his entire life, and loved Yamaha.
Survivors include, wife, Debra Hutchins of the home, son, Tommy Hutchins and wife Charlotte of Franklin, TN, daughter, Cynthia Brown and husband Drew of Arlington, TN, step-son Brent Williams, 5 grandchildren: Alex Brown, Hannah Hutchins, Nickalus Campbell, Tyler Williams, and Aiden Williams.
Traver was preceded in death by his parents.
