Obituary for Warren John Tienken

Marlow: Warren John Tienken, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2020 in Marlow, at the age of 70.

A Memorial Services will be held at 5:00 PM at the Christian Center Church in Duncan, Saturday, September 26, 2020, with Pastor James Miller officiating. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.

Warren was born Saturday, December 10, 1949 in Des Moines, IA, to Arnold Martin and Mabel (Higgins) Tienken. He lived in the Stephens County area for more than 26 years. Warren married Linda Marie Tienken in Illinois on April 18, 1987; they were married for 23 years before Linda's passing in November of 2010. Warren worked as a salesman for Superior Painting which he owed along with Superior Buildings and Security Roofing for many years. He served in the Navy on the USS Lexington. Warren was a talented painter, artist, and enjoyed drawing along with inventing things. He never met a stranger, a great story teller, as well as a good poker player. Warren was a member of the VFW member.

Survivors include, 2 sons, Marshal Tienken and wife Shannon of Mesa, AZ, Daxon Tienken of Glendale, AZ, a daughter, Tanya May Pearman and husband Andy of Fort worth, TX, 6 grandchildren, Jessica Ponce, Beverly Brinkman, Kayla Wilkerson, Jasmine Pearman, Amanda Tienken, and Jacob Brinkman. He is also survived by a brother, Arnold Tienken of IL, 2 sisters, Gail Olson of IL, Diane Paschen of IL, and great friends that were more like family, Robbie, Dawn, Shaleese, Kenneth, and Raegan.

Along with his wife, Warren was preceded in death by his parents.
