Obituary for William Robert Brown Jr.
Marlow: William Robert Brown Jr., 74, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022 in Duncan.
Memorial Services are being planned for a later date. All arrangements have been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
William was born Wednesday, March 26, 1947, to William Sr. and Mary (Hawk) Brown. He attended schools in Texas and Kansas, and worked as an electrical engineer. William married Connie M. Belden on February 5, 1965, and they celebrated over 56 years of marriage. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, an Eagle Boy Scout, and a member of the Methodist Church. He enjoyed reading, playing games on the computer, camping, and canoeing. William also loved history and watching movies. He will be missed dearly by many.
Survivors include his wife of the home, 2 sons, Rex Brown of Sarasota, FL, and Gary Brown and wife Lisa of Brighton, CO, 2 daughters, Angilque McGuire of Brighton, CO, and Gena Brown of Marlow, brother, Michael Brown and wife Salley of Houston, TX, sister, Robie and husband Dick from Harrington, KS, and six grandchildren, Tylara, Tishandra, Dominique, Devon, Donavan, and Morgan.
William was preceded in death by his parents.
