Obituary for William Monroe Weyrick

Rush Springs: William (Bill) M. Weyrick, 77, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021 in Duncan.

A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, May 7, 2021, at 11:30 AM, with Del Ford officiating. The service will be held at the Weyrick's residence at, 4365 County Street 2840, Rush Springs. Dinner to follow at Rush Springs Assembly of God. All arrangements have been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services.

Bill was born Monday, December 20, 1943 in Chickasha, to John Henry and Hattie (Wilcox) Weyrick. He was a graduate of Rush Springs High School. Bill lived in the Grady County area all of his life, and worked as a roughneck in the oil field. He married the love of his life, Patricia "Pat" Loyd on March 21, 1966, in Wichita Falls, TX., and they celebrated 55 years of marriage. Bill enjoyed being a cowboy, farming, and taking care of his cattle. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them, and his grandkids were his passion. Bill will be deeply missed by all.

Survivors include his wife of the home, son, Jake Weyrick and wife Kalera of Taloga, 2 grandchildren, Zora Monroe Weyrick, and Daz Wayne Weyrick, 2 sisters, Jean Funk and husband Harry of Rush Springs, and Arnetta Pritchard of Carnegie, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, son, Bill Weyrick, 2 brothers, R.C. Weyrick, and Cotton Weyrick, daughter, Leslie Laray Weyrick, and 5 sisters, Daisye Stewart, Elsie Brooks, Anna Mae Largent, Mary Davis, and Dorothy Wiseley.
