Obituary for Rita Mary Berg

Oklahoma City:     Rita Mary Berg, 66, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, November 10, 2007 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.Services will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, November 13, 2007, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow with Rev. David Woods  officiating. Burial will be in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home. Rita was born Sunday, July 13, 1941 in Buffalo, New York, to Charles Willard Siner and Inez Gertrude Keating.  Rita married Richard Berg on October 6, 1979 in Yutan, Nebraska.  Rita had lived in Florida before moving to the Duncan area 17 years ago.  She graduated from North Miami Beach High School in Florida.  Rita retired from People's Natural Gas Company as a bookkeeper.  She was an oil painter and an expert at ceramics.  She loved to raise and train horses and was the founding member of the Duncan Horse Club.  She loved being around her family.  Rita was of the Catholic faith.Survivors include, Husband, Richard Berg of the home;  3 Sons, William Marc Wakefield & wife Vickie of Mobile, AL, Keith Richard Berg of Rush Springs, OK, Andrew C. Berg of Oklahoma City, OK, 2 Daughters, Valerie  Jean Monroe of Rush Springs, OK; Rhonda-Leigh Marie Johnson & husband Jimmie Johnson, Jr. of Amarillo, Texas;  5 Grandchildren, Several Nieces and Nephews.She was preceded in death by her Parents, 2 sisters and a brother.Pallbearers: Patrick Lee, William Wakefield, Keith Richard Berg, Andrew Berg, Kevin Tennison, Pepper Daniels.
