Jack lived with Greg and I for a short period of time while we were in Tennessee. One day we were going to have a fire in the back yard and we had no lighter fluid. Greg ran to the corner market for lighter fluid and other essentials for he and Jack. I had started the fire while Jack was in the house. Before Greg returned from the store, it was going great! Jack came back outside and asked where Greg was. I said he hadn't returned yet. The look on Jack's face was priceless. He said to me, "So you lit this fire?", my response was yes I did. He then turned, looked at the fire, shook his head and said to me, "Why you are just a regular damned Girl Scout now aren't you?" He still not believe I lit the fire until Greg drove in the driveway minutes later. All Jack could do for the rest of the day was look at the fire, shake his head and look at me. I will always remember this day as he was so surprised I lit the fire without lighter fluid.
